So you’ve mastered 3 channel flight, you’ve tried the Syma 107, the U4 and all their brothers, and now you’re looking for something a bit more exciting, perhaps a bit more technical. If you’re a pilot looking to progress to an advanced level then we think the Nano CX or the Nano SR might be just what you’re looking for. Advancing to 4 channel flight is no mean feat but we pride ourselves on our rigorous testing skills so that you won’t be left with a helicopter that costs hundreds of pounds and is almost impossible to fly without a licence! The upgrade to 4 channel flight means that not only can you control the pitch, yaw and height of the helicopter but you can also bank as well (think stepping sideways).
If you’ve never flown an RC Helicopter before then these little choppers might not be the best place to start, but if you’re looking to advance to an higher level, look no further!
Nano CX:
If you’re serious about wanting to learn to fly R/C helicopters but don’t want to spend the earth, look no further! Its super-stable co-axial design provides the novice pilot with “thinking-time” to help master all the basics of model helicopter flight, without removing any of the challenge or fun! Manufactured from tough materials to help withstand the inevitable bumps, the Nano CX is supplied with an ergonomic 2.4GHz transmitter with built in charging socket and lead for the included Li-Po flight battery.
Nano SR:
If you’ve mastered the basics of flight with a co-axial helicopter and you’re ready to progress to the next exciting level, you’ll want the fabulous new Nano SR! Its cleverly designed single rotor system provides you with the “full-on” flying experience of big performance machines that could cost hundreds of pounds more. Big circuits, fast forward and backward flight, pirouettes, they’re all possible with this sensational indoor micro helicopter! coor blimey!!! - Review by chris

i took a gamble and went for the SR and wow it is rapid!!!!
It is ready to fly out of the box but it does need a bit of tweeking from the adjustment buttons which can be a bit trial and error the chinese manual takes a bit of translating (not the best). it is very light and made from flexible plastic so it can withstand a few crashes - mine tends to bounce!!. it seems to be a rebranded version of another helicopter so spares are quite cheep and can be easily sourced online if things go drastically wrong. I would recommend putting in a few hours with some co-axial heli's as the jump to this one is quite steep and will definately take some time to master and you do have to get used to turning with the same stick as the throttle (the other straifes). It is very quick so you need a fair bit of space to fly it but it is very responsive to your command inputs and the manuverability is pin sharp compared to my G4 and G6. The only real downside i have found is that the ski's can pop off but they just clip back on and off you go like the proverbial rocket!!!!!!!!!
