This should have really been called the batman phone! For all the young RED5er’s that are scratching their heads, we’re referring to the camp Batman in grey tights and not the cool remakes that have graced our cinema screens recently. Any time Gothem city was in trouble, Chief O’hara or Commissioner Gordon got on the special red phone that only dialled Batman’s house.

When the phone rings the red light flashes to let you know someone is in danger (or to enquire if you would like double glazing!). To dial out you need to press the secret button to reveal the numbers.

In the 1970’s, (well before his career peaked to the highs of Animal Hospital) the well-known Australian painter was the ideal man to promote the crazy synthesizer.
