If your attempts to master telekinesis have so far proved fruitless, or your Jedi mind tricks leave your status firmly at the level of Padawan (that’s a beginner Jedi for all you non-star wars fans), then maybe the Airswitch can give you the illusion of what you are aiming for.
Airswitch lamps use Mathmos Airswitch technology to enable you to turn on/off and brighten/dim the light without needing to fumble around for a switch. The light uses a sensor to determine where your hand is in relation to it and adjusts the light accordingly. Move your hand vertically towards the light and it will dim, away and it will brighten, horizontally across the sensor beams and it will turn on/ off.
It’s so good you can find your self dimming and brightening, turning on and off, over and over again, just because you can! However just remember, the varying light conditions will become slightly annoying to everyone else in the room (either that or they will be budging you out the way so they can have ago)!
Mood lighting for the contemporary home. This lighting panel houses an array of different coloured LED's which will not blow like a conventional bulb or ever need changing. They faze on and off to create a relaxing and hypnotic effect which will add colour and movement to your room. Perfect for bedrooms, living rooms, shelves and bookcases casting a warm glow wherever it is placed. The Hypdotic panel can be hung on the wall or simply sit on a flat surface.
Lava lamps have been around since the 1960’s and haven’t lost their 'wow' factor after all this time! The concept was originally used as an egg timer and then adapted to create amazing mood lighting that became a defining feature of the 70’s. Mathmos are the company behind it all so were our natural choice. After all, the ultimate gadget shop needed to have the ultimate lava lamps!
We haven’t seen infinity mirrors for aaaages and thought it was about time that they got a revival! They give a great illusion stretching back forever using LEDs and mirrors, which is probably ideal if your decorating Dr Who’s Tardis. If you don’t have your own time machine styled on an old police phone box then we’re sure they’ll look just as good in a bedroom or office.
