If you think ‘erupting underwater volcano meets disco lights’ you are just about there in explaining the Volcano! The bigger brother of the Desktop Volcano features multicoloured changing LEDs that shine down over cascading lava (or plastic balls that look like lava to be more accurate). This lava is forced up through the top of the volcano by fans at the base. This also creates a current that takes the lava back down to the bottom only to be erupted again! The lights from the LEDs creates a mesmerising effect that we’re sure will be come a kids bedroom favourite.
Please note: the fans to create this effect do make a small sound, so it may not be ideal as a nightlight if the sleeper requires perfect silence.
Volcano's are an awing inspiring site to see, especially when they are erupting. The problem is they really need to be observed from a distance……a very long distance.
Most people, at some point in their lives, have had a goldfish. The trouble with goldfish is that they need looking after. You constantly have to feed them, clean the tanks, clean the water and even when you do all that, you often find them floating at the top the next morning!
The beautiful game is now available in miniature. Table football (also known as foosball) was invented by Alejandro Finisterre from Galicia, Spain. Finisterre was injured in the Spanish Civil War as a child, and unable to play football, he designed a table top version to be played with your hands. Over the years it has changed and turned into an iconic addition to bars and pubs all across the world!
