Forget boring old science lessons learning about chemical elements, atoms and particle theory – where you would be thinking about anything other than what’s written in your text book. Science has had a whole new makeover, blasting images of dusty chalkboards and the Periodic Table clean out the water and replacing it with something practical, fun and incredibly awesome.
The DIY Synth Kit teaches older children (and adults too) about electrical energy, circuit boards, resistors, capacitators and potentiometers as you build. The Synth Kit gives you everything you need to make your very own handmade synthesiser from scratch. Simply follow the detailed instructions in the pack (there’s also a handy YouTube video), and place together all of the components to make your synth. You don’t need any other components as everything is included in this fab kit.
But building the synth is only half the story, as the real fun starts when you begin to experiment with frequency, pitch and volume to make awesome electro music. Your finished synth features three different synthesisers in one to give you even more creative possibilities! Invent, practice and perform funky sounds using the classic Atari Punk Console, Stutter and Dub Sirens options.
All you need to do now is create the next big hit!
