The handle features an answer call/mute button and can be used independently from the base. The free app also gives you the retro rotary dialler for added nostalgia.

I bought two of these; one for my 21 year old step daughter and one for my 28 year old daughter, and they both loved them to bits. They loved the look of the retro ice phones, and said how nice it is to talk into a proper receiver...and prop the receiver up on their shoulder if they wanted to!

- When I first saw this product I thought it looked really good and original, but when I bought this product I realised that it wasn't built for the new iPhone 5 because the iPhone 5's headphone socket is at the bottom not the top. I then had to lead the wire through the back of the telephone, also in the little leaflet that came with the product it says that you can have your phone either vertically or horizontally, unfortunately this is not the case, when you put the phone horizontally then pick up the ice-phone and put it to your ear the phone just falls off the stand. I love this product but it does need some improvements, hope this helps.
