The U6 helicopter is our favouritest helicopter of them all. It flies like a dream and its flashing LEDs provide that extra bit of dazzle. Sadly, not everyone is naturally skilled in the aviation department and mishaps can happen from time to time. Fear not, as lots of bits are replaceable, like the tail boom for example. To fit all you have to do is remove the front hood, clip in to the circuit board and attach with two screws at the rear.

Fantastic first RC Helo Review by Les: Had to abort a flight before a serious impact with the Plasma TV. The resulting crash landing ripped the tail rotor from its mountings. Replacement tail boom arrived from RED5 within 3 days at very reasonable cost.

The instructions for fitting are straight forward but you will need to dismantle one half of the main body in order to feed the new cables through to the front of the circuit board. Not for the faint hearted or clumsy I'm afraid and great care is required when trying remove the sticky Red "goo" that prevents the plugs from falling out when crash landing. If you have a delicate touch, small fingers and a watchmakers Loupe (magnifying glass gripped in your eye socket) then have a go but if you are unsure in anyway, take or send it back to RED5 for repairs. Great aircraft and lots of fun when you get it back into service. Thanks RED5
Fitting Tail Boom Review by Philip: Fitting is almost as simple as described in the sales blurb but on mine I had to remove the side plate as well a there is no way you can thread the wires through the plastic tube otherwise. Very simple to do just note where all the screws came from!
Now back up and blowing away the christmas cards from the living room......great fun and very quick delivery by RED5 thank you Taz!
